Nature Strategy

Every business depends on nature, from clean water to fertile soils.

The financial consequences of nature loss are already being felt across all sectors; showing up in share prices, credit ratings, supply chain disruptions and rising insurance costs. But the transition to nature-positive also brings real commercial opportunity.

As awareness grows, so do expectations. New reporting frameworks and increasing stakeholder pressure mean that nature is moving firmly up the business agenda. Finding the best path forward isn't always easy, and the landscape can feel overwhelming at first.

Everloop helps your business understand and work with nature.

We work with you to understand how your business interacts with nature - identifying dependencies, impacts, risks and opportunities, setting meaningful targets, and building a strategy that works for you. We also help you prepare for nature-related disclosures in a way that's clear, credible and practical.

Understanding Nature Impact & Water Risk

Wool-based packaging brand

A sustainable packaging brand needed to understand where and how their business interacts with nature across their value chain.

Click to Reveal Our Impact.

Using the TNFD LEAP methodology, we mapped nature interfaces, dependencies and pressures across key sites — including suppliers. Our assessment revealed water as a critical nature topic alongside carbon.

We then conducted a deeper water impact assessment following Alliance for Water Stewardship (AWS) methodology, delivering an actionable water strategy covering supply chain, operations, and on-site conservation opportunities.

The result

A clear picture of nature risk and a practical roadmap to address it.

Mapping Climate & Nature Hotspots in a Cosmetics Supply Chain

Global cosmetics brand

A cosmetics brand needed to identify where nature risk and impact were concentrated across a complex, ingredient-heavy supply chain.

Click to Reveal Our Impact.

Following the TNFD LEAP methodology, we assessed nature interfaces, pressures and dependencies across key value chain sites, applying proxies where ingredient origins were unknown. We layered this with an ingredient-level impact assessment covering water, ecotoxicity and land use. By prioritising ingredients and suppliers against volume, impact and risk exposure, we identified the top 10 sites of concern, the highest-impact ingredients, and a clear set of actions to reduce biodiversity loss and manage nature risk.

The result

A prioritised, evidence-based roadmap telling the business exactly where to focus its nature action first and what steps to take.

Nature & Biodiversity Risk Assessment Across a Global Portfolio

International engineering manufacturer

A global engineering manufacturer needed to understand its nature-related impacts, risks and opportunities across a complex, multi-site international estate.

Click to Reveal Our Impact.

We selected 50 sites for assessment based on size, ecological significance and vulnerability to nature and climate impacts. For each site, we identified key nature interfaces, the state of local biodiversity, and the company's main drivers of biodiversity loss. Analysing results against business activities, we quantified financial exposure to priority nature-related risks. The findings directly informed the company's Double Materiality Assessment, surfacing the material nature topics and shaping a prioritised action plan.

The result

Board-ready insight into nature risk exposure with the financial context and clear priorities needed to act.

Building your Nature Strategy.
Where do you start?

  • Map your dependencies: What natural resources do your products, operations, or people rely on? Even data centres need water.
  • Understand your impacts: Do your activities or supply chains contribute to deforestation, water stress, or pollution?
  • Set priorities: Which risks matter most, now or soon? Don’t forget, data gaps can cost you too.
  • Make a plan: Tackle your biggest risks and impacts to protect your business and help drive a nature-positive future.
