Nature Strategy

Every business depends on nature, from clean water to fertile soils.

The financial consequences of nature loss are already being felt across all sectors; showing up in share prices, credit ratings, supply chain disruptions and rising insurance costs. But the transition to nature-positive also brings real commercial opportunity.

As awareness grows, so do expectations. New reporting frameworks and increasing stakeholder pressure mean that nature is moving firmly up the business agenda. Finding the best path forward isn't always easy, and the landscape can feel overwhelming at first.

Everloop helps your business understand and work with nature.

We work with you to understand how your business interacts with nature - identifying dependencies, impacts, risks and opportunities, setting meaningful targets, and building a strategy that works for you. We also help you prepare for nature-related disclosures in a way that's clear, credible and practical.

Case Study

How Woolcool Took Action on Water Stewardship

Building on a TNFD-aligned nature impact assessment, water was identified as a material issue for Woolcool (an innovator in sustainable packaging).

We guided Woolcool through a structured water stewardship assessment aligned with the Alliance for Water Stewardship (AWS) standard.

Together, we created Woolcool’s first Water Stewardship Strategy:

  • Clear visibility of water hotspots across the value chain
  • Defined risks related to climate, water quality, and materials sourcing
  • Targeted actions across direct control, supplier influence, and local water initiatives

Our Impact

By working with us, Woolcool moved from uncertainty to a clear, actionable roadmap on water stewardship.

Crucially, this wasn’t just a compliance exercise. The strategy unlocked opportunities for meaningful employee engagement, growing partnerships that benefit both water conservation efforts and the business, while helping to identify strategies for building water resilience across the supply chain.

Building your Nature Strategy.
Where do you start?

  • Map your dependencies: What natural resources do your products, operations, or people rely on? Even data centres need water.
  • Understand your impacts: Do your activities or supply chains contribute to deforestation, water stress, or pollution?
  • Set priorities: Which risks matter most, now or soon? Don’t forget, data gaps can cost you too.
  • Make a plan: Tackle your biggest risks and impacts to protect your business and help drive a nature-positive future.

Ready to take the next step?

Taking a few structured steps can help you understand your organisation’s impact on nature and build long-term resilience in a changing world.
